Storytelling through photographs comes naturally to me. Capturing in a picture the feelings between you and your future, how much you love each other at this very moment, is my most important goal. Through the photographs, I will give you beautiful portaits of yourselves and show you your story through my eyes and what you didn’t see: your mothers tears, the children playing in the corner, your fathers proud smile. Photographing your wedding gives you a way to keep your memories . The day will be a whirlwind of activities and emotions, of laughter and of tears, hugs and joy.

This is a day full of moments, gone in an instant. Having the opportunity to relive this day over and over, every time you look at your wedding photos will bring you so much joy. On your anniversary, 10 years from now and when your grandchildren stumble upon the wedding album, you can share your story and recognize how it felt in this moment, on this day and forever.

When I photograph my goal is to capture the moments, genuine reactions and emotions and tell the story of your day exactly how it happened and how you and your guests experience it. Having the opportunity to document the day showing its precious moments, the laughter and tears, your friends and family, preserving your memories in photographs and showing you parts of the day you may have missed is a great honor for me.

Having photographed almost 100 weddings over the past 10 years, I know them inside and out and always caputre the important moments. I work quietly and in the background most of the time, capturing real emotions and moments from the day. The only time I influence the day is during the portrait section and group photos. Portraits are for many an unpleasant part that has to be done but I try to make it fun so that you, the bride and groom, forget that I am there with my camera. And in this way I get beautiful photos of you with real smiles and emotions.

FAQ

Where are you based?

I am based in beautiful Östersund Sweden. Close to the mountains of Åre and a short plane ride from the rest of Sweden.

Do you travel for weddings abroad?

I do! Contact me with your specifics for a quote.

When will we get our photos?

Culling and editing your images takes time, but I know that you are excited to see them. I send out sneak peaks within a week of the wedding and deliver the final gallery within 2-4 weeks from the wedding date.

Do you do engagement shoots?

Yes I do! Engagement shoots are done during the week, preferably in the evening a few weeks before the wedding. It is a great chance to try-out the photographer and get some great pictures too! Let me know if you want to add that to your package.

My friend takes good pictures. Why should I hire a Photographer?

A wedding photographer has the experience of the day and has a feeling for when the important moments that happen during the day will happen and can then focus on looking for the smaller but also important events, the small details that make the day personal for you, however without miss the big events, so you and your future get a complete fairy tale. A wedding photographer is experienced and can move around in a non-obtrusive way and give you different perspectives and an overview of the day in the pictures. It has the confidence and the people skills to make you feel relaxed even if you don’t enjoy being in front of the camera so that the wedding portraits you get are the best pictures of you, ever.

I promise pictures you love, that you recognize and that transport you back to that moment when you said to each other, I love you.

how do i book you for my wedding?

Great!

The first step is to send me a quick email and tell me about your day, plans and what kind of coverage you want. It can be just the ceremony, full day or something inbetween. Don’t forget to let me know where your wedding will happen and the date so I can check my availablilty.

If everything works and we come to an agreement on price and package, the second step is to secure your booking. To do that I request a signed agreement and a paid, non-refundable, booking fee of SEK 3,000 (which is deducted from the final amount).

what is your photography style?

My photography style is timeless, fun and colourful. In 10 years time I want you to look at your photos and still love them because they are beautifully timeless working then as they do now.

How many images do we get?

I deliver all photos that are beautiful, minus the doubles, the ones that have technical problems and the ones where eyes are closed or you are talking in the middle and your mouth is doing that funny thing.

Officially you get between 40-50 images for every hour I am on location photographing. So for a 3 hour wedding, expect around 120-150 images. This is the offical number but I quite often deliver more.

Are there extra fees?

Yes. Travel and accommodation will be added to the package under certain circumstances.

In general, weddings outside of Östersund but within Jämtland, have a travel fee of 5kr/km.

Weddings farther away have different travel and accommodation fees. Contact me with your specs if you want more information.
